Dr. Praveen Pandey is a Consultant Urologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon at Sahara Super Specialty Hospital Lucknow. He also provides his clinical
services at Avadh Hospital and Heart Centre, Alambagh.
After completing his Masters in General Surgery, He started his career in Urology as a Senior Resident in Department Of Urology, Robotics And
Renal Transplant, Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, New Delhi. He worked there From 17th august 2009 To 24th October 2009 under eminent
guidance Of Dr. Rajesh Ahlawat (MCh Urology).
He completed his MCh in Urology from Prestigious Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Kolkata in 2013.
He worked As Consultant in Department Of Urology And Renal Transplant, Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, New Delhi From 2nd september,
2013 To 8th march, 2014.
He was selected for the post of Assistant Professor, Department Of Urology And Renal Transplant, at Institute Of Liver And Biliary Sciences,
Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and worked there from 10th March To 23rd september 2014.
Eventually, he was selected in an interview for the post of Assistant Professor – Urology (Academic Teaching Cadre) conducted by UPSC. He
joined Department Of Urology at PGIMER and Dr RML Hospital, New Delhi. He worked there from 23rd September till 2nd April, 2016 before moving to his Urology
practice in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh .He has to his credit a number of publications in national and international journals. He has presented papers
in a number of national conferences and in International conferences as well.

Awards and Recognitions
Urological Association of Asia Youth Section Fellowship:
Dr Praveen Pandey was awarded this Fellowship by the Youth section wing of Urological Association of Asia for
participating in the workshop at Kish Island, Iran during the 12th Asian Congress of Urology. He attended a workshop covering
sessions on scientific study design, research, ethics and medical writing. The invited faculty for the workshop included Dr T Kimura,
Associate Editor of the International Journal of Urology and Dr CW Fan, President Hong Kong Urological Association
USI AUA International Fellowship: Test
Dr Praveen Pandey was awarded this reputed Fellowship while pursuing his MCh Urology training. He was among the four trainees who were
selected for this prestigious Fellowship program from the entire country.
During this Fellowship, he travelled to different centers of excellence in field of Urology in various parts of USA. He learnt the
nuances and techniques of Robotic Uro-oncology at world famous Vattikuti Urological Institute, Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. At VUI,
he observed operative skills of living legends like Dr Mani Menon and Dr Jack Elder.
He also visited USC Institute of Urology, Keck Medical Center, Los Angeles. During his stay, he learnt from leaders in world Urology
like Dr Inderbir Gill who performs some of the most challenging Robotic and Laparoscopic surgeries.
Later, He attended annual meeting of American Urological Association at San Diego, California.
Best Poster Award at EZUSICON 2012:
He was awarded “BEST POSTER AWARD” for poster presentation on topic “Foreign Bodies in Lower Urinary Tract and Their Management” in
EZ-USICON 2012 held at Jamshedpur.
Dr I.P. Agarwal Memorial Best Post Graduate Paper Award:
He was awarded this prestigious award at 25th annual conference of “THE ASSOCIATION OF SURGEONS OF INDIA”, MP state chapter, 2008 for his research work on different methods of Wound Dressings.
